Visiting The Crystal Studio
What are your opening hours?
We are open 7 days a week, 9:00am–4:30pm.
Please check our website or social media for any changes to opening hours around holidays and special events.
Do I need to book to visit?
No. You’re welcome to simply turn up and explore.
You don’t need an appointment to browse the crystal shop, visit the Apothecafé or enjoy our standard drop-in crafts.
Some workshops, events, parties and special experiences do require advance booking.
Is it free to visit?
Yes. There is no admission charge to visit The Crystal Studio.
You can browse the shop and explore without having to buy anything.
We also run selected free activities, family sessions, circles and events throughout the year.
Can I come on my own?
Of course.
Lots of our customers visit by themselves. You’re welcome to browse, enjoy a drink in the Apothecafé, read a book, journal, make a craft or simply spend some quiet time here.

What crystals do you sell?

We stock a huge and ever-changing selection of crystals, from popular favourites to unusual and collectible pieces.
You’ll find tumbles, bracelets, towers, spheres, carvings, statement pieces, raw crystals and much more.
Because our stock changes regularly, every visit can be different.

Our team can help you explore different crystals based on what you’re drawn to or what you would like support with.
Do your crystals have information with them?

Yes. We want crystals to feel accessible, especially if you’re just getting started.
You’ll find information throughout the shop to help you understand different crystals and their traditional spiritual and wellbeing associations.
Can you choose a crystal for me?

We can certainly help guide you.
Sometimes you may also find yourself naturally drawn to a particular crystal — colour, shape, texture or simply the feeling that you keep coming back to it.
Do crystals have healing properties?

Crystals have been used in spiritual and wellbeing practices for centuries, and many people use them for intention setting, meditation, mindfulness and personal rituals.
However, crystals and other spiritual practices should not be used as a replacement for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

What is the Apothecafé?

The Apothecafé is our café and community space within The Crystal Studio.
It’s somewhere to slow down, enjoy a drink or sweet treat, read, journal, chat, play a game or spend some time surrounded by beautiful energy.

Do I need to book a table?

No. You can simply drop in during our opening hours.
Do I have to buy something from the crystal shop to use the café?

Not at all.
You’re welcome to visit just for the Apothecafé.
What food and drinks do you serve?

Our menu includes hot and cold drinks, teas, coffee, sweet treats and a selection of light food options.
Our menu can change, so please see the current menu when you visit.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?

We offer selected options for different dietary requirements.
Please speak to a member of staff before ordering if you have an allergy or intolerance so we can provide the relevant allergen information.
Can children use the Apothecafé?
Yes. Families are very welcome.
We also have children’s books, games and activities available.
Drop-In Crystal Crafts ✨
Can we make crafts when we visit?

Yes!
Our drop-in crafts are available 7 days a week during opening hours.
There’s no need to book for our standard drop-in activities — simply ask a member of the team when you arrive.

Adults are very welcome to make them too.
You’re never too old to sit down and make something beautiful.
Do we need to bring anything?
No. We provide the materials you need for your chosen activity.

Do you offer children’s birthday parties?

Yes. We offer creative crystal-themed children’s parties in Halifax.
Party activities include options such as crystal bracelets, crystal slime, wish jars, crystal wands, bath potions, happiness globes, hair charms and crystal bears.
What is the minimum number of children?
Our children’s parties have a minimum booking of 6 children.
How much do parties cost?
Prices depend on the activity selected, with party activities starting from £12 per child.
Workshops, Events & Healing ✨
Do you run workshops?

Yes. We run a changing programme of workshops, circles, creative sessions, spiritual development events and wellbeing experiences.

Do you run free events?
Yes. We regularly offer free events and activities alongside our paid workshops.
Places may be limited for some free sessions, so advance booking may still be required.
Do I need experience to attend a spiritual workshop?

Unless a workshop specifically says otherwise, beginners are very welcome.
You don’t need to know everything about crystals, spirituality, meditation or energy work before joining us.
Do you offer Reiki and healing sessions?

Yes. We offer selected healing and wellbeing services, including Angelic Reiki.

Can I hire your event space?

Our event space can be used for workshops, retreats, wellbeing events, private groups, parties and other suitable events.

The Crystal Circle 🌙
Do you offer online workshops?

Yes.
Our Crystal Circle is our online spiritual membership with regular workshops and a large library of previous sessions.
Topics include crystals, manifestation, rituals, meditation, journaling, essential oils, moon work, spiritual development and more.
Can I join if I’m a complete beginner?
Absolutely.
The Crystal Circle is designed to be welcoming whether you’re just beginning your spiritual journey or have been exploring it for years.
Prices depend on the activity selected, with party activities starting from £12 per child.

You can shop with us online as well as visiting our Halifax store.
Do you offer personal shopping?

If you can’t visit us in person, we can help you shop remotely through personalised videos and messages.
This is particularly useful for crystals because you can see individual pieces before choosing.

There’s no pressure when you visit us.
Come in, have a look around and take your time.
You can ask us lots of questions or simply browse quietly. You don’t need to know anything about crystals or spirituality to visit.
Do I have to be spiritual to visit?
Not at all!
Some people visit because they’re deeply interested in crystals and spirituality.
Others come because they love geology, beautiful crystals, crafts, unusual gifts, coffee or simply discovering somewhere different in Halifax.
Everyone is welcome.
Groups & Special Visits
Can groups visit The Crystal Studio?

We welcome groups and can also arrange special activities, workshops and experiences.
Contact us in advance if you’re bringing a larger group so we can help you plan your visit.
Can you arrange a private workshop?
Yes.
We can arrange selected private workshops for groups, subject to availability.
These can be brilliant for birthdays, friendship groups, family days, wellbeing groups and celebrations.
Do you offer adult parties?
Yes!
Crystal activities aren’t just for children. Ask us about creative and spiritual experiences for adult birthdays, celebrations and group get-togethers.
